Trying The Viral Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark Recipe
In the world of easy and delicious desserts, the viral chocolate-covered strawberry bark has taken the internet by storm! I’ve seen it all over, and after making it… I see why! So quick, simple, and delicious! A nice spin on a healthier dessert option.
Here’s what you need for this recipe:
- Sliced Strawberries: High in vitamin C and has tons of heart-healthy properties!
- Peanut Butter: Adds a creamy texture and a boost of protein + healthy fats.
- Lily's Dark Chocolate Chips: I LOVE these chocolate chips! They’re sweetened with stevia, offering the delicious chocolate taste without the added sugar.
How to Make Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Bark
1. Prepare the Base Layer:
Slice washed strawberries and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Pour melted peanut butter overtop strawberries.
Pop into freezer until set.
2. Prepare Chocolate Layer:
Melt Lily's dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth. I melted about a half cup or so with a tiny dab of coconut oil.
Pour chocolate over frozen peanut butter strawberry layer. (NOTE: Here if you want, you could add some flaky sea salt!)
3. Chill and Break:
Refrigerate or freeze the bark for at least one hour or until completely set.
Once hardened, break into pieces and enjoy!
Serving and Storage Tips
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer to keep the bark fresh.
