Let’s just keep it real for a sec y’all. Losing weight and regaining confidence after menopause can be tough.
I want to share a little of my story with you today.
Back in 2018, I hit a point where my clothes weren’t fitting, I was gaining weight despite my efforts, and I felt uncomfortable and achy. You see, I had been in the health/fitness industry since 1984. I spent years teaching classes and teaching women how to lose weight. Once menopause hit, what always worked for me to “tone up” got flipped upside down.
I'll never forget the Sunday morning when I decided I’d had enough.
I had gotten ready for church and as I was putting on my favorite pair of jeans, they wouldn’t zip. I sucked in and squeezed in the best I could, only to reveal an uncomfortable and unflattering muffin top. I remember looking to my daughter and saying “Taylor, I need to get some new jeans.” I knew in that moment something needed to change. My clothes were getting tighter, I was uncomfortable, and I didn't want to stay this way.
Discovering a Lifeline for Midlife Fitness
I started searching for midlife weight loss programs that worked. I was desperate. Late one night while scrolling Instagram, I came across the "FASTer Way to Fat Loss" program. I was skeptical, but figured “what the heck, I have nothing to lose.” I signed up, showed up on that Monday, and little did I know, this program would up changing my life forever.
