Almond Flour chocolate Chip cookies
Here’s what you’ll need:
2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup grass-fed butter, melted (this can also be changed with melted coconut oil if you prefer)
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips (use chocolate chips of your choice- I like the EnjoyLife semi sweet mini chips!)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare your baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine all ingredients besides chocolate chips.
Once combined, add in chocolate chips and stir until incorporated.
Roll into equal sized balls and place onto baking sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until set and slightly crispy on top.
Remove from baking sheet, transfer onto cooling rack and ENJOY!
RECIPE NOTES:
Cookies may be rather puffed up, you can tap your pan against the countertop or flatten out with the back of a spoon if you prefer
You can also add chopped nuts (like pecans or walnuts) to this recipe if you like :)
This recipe can easily be doubled to yield more cookies!
