Almond Flour chocolate Chip cookies

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 1/4 cup grass-fed butter, melted (this can also be changed with melted coconut oil if you prefer)

  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (use chocolate chips of your choice- I like the EnjoyLife semi sweet mini chips!)

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare your baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper.

  • In a bowl, combine all ingredients besides chocolate chips.

  • Once combined, add in chocolate chips and stir until incorporated.

  • Roll into equal sized balls and place onto baking sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until set and slightly crispy on top.

  • Remove from baking sheet, transfer onto cooling rack and ENJOY!

RECIPE NOTES:

  • Cookies may be rather puffed up, you can tap your pan against the countertop or flatten out with the back of a spoon if you prefer

  • You can also add chopped nuts (like pecans or walnuts) to this recipe if you like :)

  • This recipe can easily be doubled to yield more cookies!

  • Recipe makes 12 cookies
